“A fresh coat of paint in a light color can make an interior seem brighter and larger, as can LED bulbs,” said Barkin. “Other affordable renovations include new drip cups under stove burners, swapping out switch plates for white ones, adding evergreen plants, installing dimmers and doing an exterior power-wash.”
