Not so long ago Americans couldn’t seem to get enough of a bizarre garment called the “Snuggie” — essentially, a blanket with sleeves. They’re still available, but thankfully the fuss has died down. When a colleague found this would be included in the article, she responded with dismay: “I love my Snuggie!” I love my Snuggie, too, except that it isn’t a Snuggie. It’s a bathrobe.
